1/07/2012 - ESRI Shapefiles now available to Download
As of the 01/07/2012, the zip files available for download through the Download Data page now contain ESRI shapefile versions of Mineral and Petroleum Titles. For example, when users download EL_Data.zip, a MapInfo Table and ESRI Shapefile version of each file is present. To be able to download data, you must become a registered user. Complete the Application Form available on the Welcome Page and email or fax the form using the contact details provided.
Change in Administration of Offshore Petroleum Tenure
As of the 1st of January 2012, the responsibility for all offshore petroleum tenure was transferred to the National Offshore Petroleum Title Administrator (NOPTA). and as such are now responsible for the register, data and records for all petroleum tenure in Commonwealth waters. Spatial datasets for offshore petroleum tenure is no longer available to view or download through TIS. Please forward any data request directly to NOPTA
